2015 Annual Meeting

THIRD COAST AVANTI  

March 14, 2015 

Welcome and meeting was called to order by our President Tom Ossowski with a thank you to our hosts Bob and Gail Boucher.  Everyone had a lovely lunch and enjoyed seeing Bob and Gail’s cars.  We especially enjoyed our hosts newly acquired Cord. 

Gifts were exchange by members. For some reason almost everyone wanted to keep what they opened, but fun was had by everyone. 

Old Business: 

Reading of the minutes by Mathew Pautz which were unanimously approved. 

Treasures Report was presented by Tom Ossowski in the packet with a balance of $84.00.  $6.00 Dollars for calendar goes to AOAI. 

We have two new members Richard James and Carl Doughty. 

We also want to welcome Barry Hackney. 

Dues were collected and calendars sold.  See treasurers report. 

Graphics Report update:  Patch design was discussed and it was approved for the A-4 and 1/2 inch patch by eight votes. B – Patch has zero votes and the C-Patch had 1 vote.  Also noted was that research was done and no one is aware of anyone else having this design. 

New Business: 

Motion to have February 14th, 2015 meeting is planned to have lunch at Spring Creek 1960 Barbeque and then desert at Tony and Shirley Darrow’s was made by Tony Darrow and seconded by Joe Beatty. The vote was unanimous. 

Informal discussion for events for March and April.  It was discussed that everyone to meet at Dicks Classic Garage at 120 Stagecoach Trail in San Marcus, Texas.  Phone number is (512) xxx-xxxx.  Motion was made by Karen Lopez that she be the host on March 14, 2015 at Dicks Classic Garage and seconded by Joe Beatty.  Vote was unanimous.   

It was brought up that April meeting could be the Studebaker Zone meet the last weekend of April.  The vote was unanimous. 

Motion was made by Karen Lopez that we adjourn and seconded by Mike Carter. 

Meeting adjourned at 4:20.
